Black Magic honors the music of guitar legend Carlos Santana, who attributes his music’s popularity to the blending of African based rhythms, bluesy organ, and of course that melodic guitar played straight from the heart.
Black Magic stays true to this formula and focuses heavily on the authenticity of Santana’s live concerts. Their audience is taken on a journey throughout Santana’s incredible 50+ year career with classics from the Woodstock Era ("Black Magic Woman" and "Oye Como Va"), tributes to his passionate and powerful ballads ("Europa" and "Samba Pa Ti"), and also performing his current Grammy hits ("Smooth" and "Maria Maria").

Rockin Chair: Performing the Music of the Eagles

Rockin’ Chair was established in 2009 to pay homage to the Laurel Canyon music scene of the late '60s and early '70s. Their 13-member ensemble authentically recreates the era's iconic sounds, spanning Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Poco, Loggins & Messina, and The Eagles. In a musical journey that includes Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, J.D. Souther, Mama Cass Elliot, and Dan Fogelberg, Rockin' Chair performs with precision.
In 2017, the band showcased their talent at premier St. Louis venues, including The Pageant, Delmar Hall, The Chesterfield Amphitheater, The Old Rock House, and The Playhouse @ Westport Plaza. Notably, KSHE Radio handpicked Rockin' Chair for two memorable 50th Anniversary events.
